I have to let you in on a little secret of mine: I love Minions! As in ‘IwishIhadarealliveMinion’ toddling around the house! It’s been on my ToDo list for a while and when someone asked me if I could make one, the time was ripe for actually making one. None of the existing patterns matched the Minion I had in mind, so I began taking notes as I went along. The result is here for You to use – I hope You will love Stuart as much as I. Happy Hooking!

Index finger and pinkie are stuffed firmly only in the tips, the thumb is filled less firmly. The hand is filled lightly to allow shaping and ‘grabbing’. Attach arm by sticking them into the gloves and sewing through the 7th round of the glove. Attach arms to body, placing the fingertips off the lower edge of the pants.

SIDEPOCKETS (make 2)
A ch 12 is sewn on each side of pants as sidepockets.
DETAIL
With single stitching, embroider a yellow ‘seem’ along the edge of the pants and pockets. With black yarn make a mouth under the goggle. Alternatively use black yarn to give your minion some hair. Remember, all Minions are different, some have spiky blownout hairstrands, some have combed over hair, some are bald!
